The 2022 Genesis G70 will be getting a heavy refresh!

To make the styling a little more interesting there are twin-bar lighting elements in the front and rear that divide the headlights and taillights. There is also a bolder and pointier chain-mail mesh grille. The front fenders are more sculptural and there is a little vent just behind each front wheel. A sharp shoulder crease runs just above the door handles from the nose to tail. These upgrades make the vehicle appear longer and leaner than before.
The G70 is currently thousands of dollars cheaper than it's German rivals, while still offering a 10-year warranty package. That is over double what other entry-luxury cars have to offer. We are expecting the pricing to be right around the same.
There is a 290-hp turbo charged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that comes standard. The usual twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 had been rumored to be replaced by a larger 3.5-liter unit. The optional six-speed manual transmission might even be discontinued.
The current screen is an 8.0-inch central display and will be upgraded to a 10.3-inch screen that will have all new software. Climate control knobs are large and easy to use and there are also hard buttons for the audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be available.

The interior is more luxurious, leaving out faux carbon-fiber pieces and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Plenty of cargo space in the trunk and even more when the rear seats are folded down.
This is definitely a very anticipated re-design, so keep checking back with us to see when the 2022 Genesis G70 will be hitting our lot!
